Cara Weiss is an award-winning copywriter (TV, radio, print) in Los Angeles and in Monterey; Cara's particular specialty is communication in all media (TV, radio, print). She has also created major advertising and public relations campaigns for Sea World, The Tropicana Hotel, and L.A. County Fair to name a few. Her accounts included the Hilton Hotels, Princess Cruises, Tibor Rudas Organization, Monterey Museum of Art, and many others in the health, education, art, technical, family, hospitality, and entertainment fields.
Cara contracts with clients to write memoirs, ad and marketing campaigns, professional and personal love letters and Dear John's, lyrics, newsletters and all collateral materials. Cara's strength is working with and communicating to the public. A strong team player, Cara works well under pressure and last-minute deadlines.
Cara is also a respected inspirational public speaker, comfortable talking to large and small groups. She has established a wide network base of contacts along the Peninsula and knows the top individuals, companies, performers, artists, etc., who will produce the best, most efficient results for all kinds of events and occasions.
Cara Weiss Wilson is a published author, Love, Otto: The Legacy of Anne Frank (Andrews & McMeel, May 1995), which was excerpted in the April`97 issue of Reader's Digest, and Chicken Soup for the Woman's Soul II (October, `98). She's also in A Chicken Soup for the Single Soul (October`99). Her newest book, an extension ofher first one, is getting a great deal of attention, especially in the educational field. It is called Dear Cara - Letters From Otto Frank: Anne's Father Shares His Wisdom (North Star Publications, October, 2000).
Cara is presently working on a number of writing projects, including a series of children's books.
